Take out is perfection!

I ordered take out on this visit and it was ready in minutes and boxed up to perfection. The restaurant is in my neighborhood. I am pleased it is here. Thank you. FG • February 8, 2012 • Rewards Network

Just a wonderful experience!

We were greeted by the owner, who gave us recommendations on what to order and the history of the place and the food. We were absolutely thrilled at her choices. All staff was welcoming and friendly. BH • February 8, 2012 • Rewards Network

Wonderful, different, plentiful...

We had a wonderful meal at the Olive and the Grape [sic]. The atmosphere is delightful and warm. We met our daughter there for lunch, she had picked out the restaurant. It the first visit for all of us. We all tried a different selection and found the food plentiful. The waitress explained how the food was from scratch and how important that was for the restaurant. We saw her greet others by name and saw a busy Sunday afternoon as we visited after our meal. GT • February 6, 2012 • Rewards Network

This place is really a hidden gem.

My girlfriend and I stumbled on it one night when the Greek place we wanted to go to was closed. Boy are we lucky the Greek place was closed! Olive and Grape has amazing food, great service and a nice ambiance. I haven't been to Turkey but the food seems authentic to me! A D. • February 5, 2012 • Yelp

An outstanding atmosphere, very tasty food.

What drew me there was the wonderful singing group, KlapaDooWopella -- they sing there about once a month or so. I wouldn't miss one of their performances. And the great wine and food makes the evening very special. WW • January 27, 2012 • Rewards Network

Food was quite good and reasonably priced.

The waiter was very friendly and helpful, suggested items on the menu, one of which we ordered. Food was quite good and reasonably priced. C T • January 27, 2012 • Rewards Network

Definitely would recommend.

Nice intimate atmosphere, courteous wait staff, they did not rush us as some restaurants do (my friend & I like to linger over dinner and chat). The appetizer was especially delicious (baked feta cheese cubes with Kalamata olives in spices served with warm pita triangles). The Tuvak (chicken kebabs) were excellent. Good wine and tasty sorbet dessert. Price very reasonable for the experience. D C • January 25, 2012 • Rewards Network

The waitress was great!

The waitress was great! She knew a lot about food from Turkey and was excited for us to try the baklava made from her mom's recipe. It was delicious. Anonymous • December 10, 2011 • Rewards Network

Delicious breakfast

The food was delicious. We tried traditional Turkish breakfast that was really delicious and out of the ordinary. Anonymous • December 4, 2011 • Rewards Network

First class food and service

The cuisine is Turkish, Greek and Italian, and each dish is distinct - no weird fusions here. First class food and service. The kitchen is really small, so it can take a while to get the food, but each item is so well worth it. We will definitely go there again, and would even if I couldn't get miles. The brunch is by far the best deal.

Fresh omelets and frittatas in reasonable portions. Try the quince and plum jams with their delicious bread. In the summer you can buy the D'Ambrosio gelato from the sidewalk. Heidi • November 23, 2011 • Google

This is my new favorite restaurant!

First time eating here and it was wonderful. I had the Turkish mussels which were the best I've had in a long time. And I am a seafood conessiuer. And they had a great selection of wines. I also had the pita bread sampler. So good. The atmosphere was dim, quiet, and uncrowded unlike most Seattle restaurants. They sell a bunch of different olive oils too. soo GOOD!!!! chelsy h. • November 14, 2011 • Yelp

Tasty and Fresh

The food was delicious there were a lot of choices both for me and my girlfriend who is a vegan/vegetarian. There was light and healthier food as well as rich food. Everything we tried was very tasty and fresh. Anonymous • November 11, 2011 • Rewards Network

Some of the best Mediterranean food I have had in a long time! Went here for the first time randomly on a Wednesday night near closing time. Real cute space and great service. Had the Kefta [sic] plate and a few other things...Kefta was extremely juicy and flavorful. Plus it was a good size plate for the price. Oliver P • October 5, 2011 • Yelp

Best baklava

My favorite Greek/Mediterranean restaurant in Greenwood! delicious food, wonderful service, Two Beers brewery on tap (woot) and the best baklava I have ever had. try the pasta fresca... you won't be disappointed! Becky S. • August 1, 2011 • Yelp

We will definitely be back.

When we drove by, we thought the sign was cool, so decided to check it out. When we took a look at the menu and the decor, we almost decided to try something else, but I'm so glad we gave it a shot. We had the lamb shish plus a Greek salad. .... The food was really quick fantastic. I love that the Greek salad didn't come on a bed of lettuce and that it was so finely chopped. I also love that the shish didn't have a bunch of pita as filler. Lots of lamb, lots of fresh lettuce and grilled tomato, delicious lightly pickled onions and fantastic tsatziki. The grain of the night was a fantastic pea risotto. You could really tell they put some thought into this side dish, rather than just throwing together something. We will definitely be back to this local staple. Lacie D. • July 28, 2011 • Yelp

Yummy and spectacular

The food was absolutely yummy. The service was spectacular. We brought family from California because we knew they would love it, and they did. Next week we are bringing more visiting family because they will love all the vegetarian selections. The Olive and Grape is at the top of our favorites list! Anonymous • July 24, 2011

Great for vegetarians

Lunch was a pleasure.

We stopped for lunch at The Olive and Grape before taking a walk around Greenlake. Lunch was a pleasure. I had a lunch wrap and my husband had a sandwich. Both had excellent flavor - better than we expected. Also we had a very cold beer at a good price. The staff was friendly and helpful, no attitude here. We'll be back.
